Tuchel urges Chelsea to send Livramento back from Soton
10/11/2021, 11:06LONDON - Chelsea are prepared to spend around 35 million pounds to sign Southampton's Tino Livramento in the winter window. Coach Thomas Tuchel is reportedly interested in bringing the player back to Stamford Bridge.
The 18-year-old footballer left Chelsea to join Southampton for a fee of £5 million.
However, his form improved during his time at theSoton and has made regular appearances in manager Ralph Hasenhuttl's first-team squad.
Even in Southampton's tough match against Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United Livramento looked impressive which led to a lot of praise for him.
The British newspaper The Sun reported Express, reported when the Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has the option to bring Livramento back to West London.
If Chelsea moves in the January 2022 winter window, Roman Abramovich's club will have to prepare funds of around 40 million pounds to repatriate English footballers.
Previously Tuchel really wanted to see Livramento stay at Chelsea. However, the financial situation and the needs of the club made the Blues let him go.
"Yes, of course he is highly rated. We are doing everything to keep him here, to show him his future and the possibility to compete for positions in our team," Tuchel explained some time ago.
So far Livramento has played four games for Southampton. His return to Stamford Bridge will certainly get a warm welcome from the Roman Emperor fans.
