US announces World Cup 26-man roster, Pulisic, McKennie, Reyna are all selected



Team USA's final 26-man roster for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar is out. The 24-year-old Pulisic was drafted, along with Reyna, Turner, Dest and McKennie.


Team USA coach Gregg Berhalter couldn't hide his excitement and joy when he returned to the World Cup after eight years. "We are delighted to be taking this team to the 2022 World Cup," he told a news conference. "Deciding the final roster is always quite difficult, and we are grateful to all those who have reached out to us to get us there. This step. We believe we have a team that is talented, strong, and ready to compete."


"We are incredibly proud and honored to represent the United States and thank our fans for all the amazing support as we travel to Qatar."

In this World Cup , the United States is in Group B with England, Iran and Wales. According to the schedule, they will face Wales on the 21st, England on the 25th, and finally face Iran on the 29th.
