Zetterer extends contract with Werder Bremen until June 2025

Following Christian Groß's request, the 27-year-old German goalkeeper Michael Zetterer also completed his contract extension with Werder Bremen.

It is understood that Zetterer's contract period has been extended to June 2025, and he would have fulfilled his current contract this summer.

Michael Zetterer is 1.87 meters tall and is Werder Bremen's second goalkeeper. He made his debut in Unterhaching in 2013 and joined Werder Bremen in 2015 for 100,000 euros.

So far, Zetterer has played 13 times for Werder Bremen, with a total of 4 clean sheets.

After completing the contract extension, Zetterer said that he is proud of the contract extension with Werder Bremen. "I signed my first contract at Werder eight years ago," he said. "A lot has happened since then and Werder and Bremen ended up being my second home. I wear Yunda for the future." Proud of Da's jersey."

Werder Bremen sporting director Clemens Fritz also congratulated Zetterer. He said, "Zetti is an excellent substitute player. He has proven his quality many times. We are very happy that he continues his future in Bremen and we can continue to rely on him."
